Follow these instructions to get started using the SDK.
1. Download the SDK
First, follow the directions in the Download the SDK section of this page or download the SDK from the Tilt Five Forums. Make sure you’re pulling the most up-to-date SDK version before you begin development. Note The SDK is currently only available for partner developers and beta backers.
2. Install the Driver
You will need to run the driver installer to enable Tilt Five Glasses to connect with your system. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the setup wizard.
3. Connect the Glasses
Connect your Tilt Five Glasses to a Windows 10 PC using the included USB C cable and USB C-A adapter if needed. Be sure to use a SuperSpeed USB port, usually indicated with a SuperSpeed (SS) icon next to the port.
4. Setup the Wand
Insert two AA batteries into your Tilt Five Wand, press the System button (the half circle button beneath the 1 & 2 buttons) to turn on your Tilt Five Wand. Your Wand will pair automatically with your Glasses and you will see a flashing green light on the Wand, indicating your Wand is correctly paired.
5. Setup the Game Board
Unfold your Tilt Five Game Board on a flat surface. Make sure the Tilt Five logo is facing toward you at the bottom of the board.
6. Install Unity 2018.4 LTS+ or newer (Optional)
If you’re looking to develop applications using the Tilt Five SDK, we currently support Unity 2018.4 LTS+ and newer. UE4 support and Native C SDK coming soon.
7. Have fun!
Now you can begin playing and making new games and applications to with the Tilt Five system. You can run your first Tilt Five demo app by navigating to the Tilt Five demo apps folder in the Installer package you just installed: Tilt Five > Demos > Windows > ATC / Marbles / WandReflection.
