These brief instructions will help you get started quickly with the SDK.

Getting Started

Follow these instructions to get started using the SDK.

1. Download the Driver

Download and run the latest driver installer from the Downloads page.

2. Install the Driver

You will need to run the driver installer to enable Tilt Five Glasses to connect with your system. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the setup wizard.

3. Connect the Glasses

Connect your Tilt Five Glasses to a Windows 10 PC using the included USB C cable and USB C-A adapter if needed. Be sure to use a SuperSpeed USB port, usually indicated with a SuperSpeed (SS) icon next to the port.

4. Setup the Wand

Insert two AA batteries into your Tilt Five Wand, press the System button (the half circle button beneath the 1 & 2 buttons) to turn on your Tilt Five Wand. Your Wand will pair automatically with your Glasses and you will see a flashing blue light on the Wand, indicating your Wand is correctly paired.

Note: Wands manufactured before December 2021 used a green LED instead of a blue LED.

5. Setup the Game Board

Unfold your Tilt Five Game Board on a flat surface. Make sure the Tilt Five logo is facing toward you at the bottom of the board.

6. Download the SDK

If you’re looking to develop applications using Tilt Five, download one of the SDKs, then check out the corresponding documentation for that developer platform linked from the sidebar.

7. Install Unity 2019.4 LTS or newer, Unreal 4, or build your own solution with the NDK

We currently support Unity 2019.4 LTS and newer, Unreal Engine 4, and Native C SDK (NDK) APIs.

8. Have fun!

Now you can begin playing and making new games and applications to with the Tilt Five system. On Windows, you can run your first Tilt Five demo app by opening up the Start Menu and navigating to Tilt Five → Demo - Marbles.
