Solid BLUE | Requesting Code | Enter four button presses (e.g. 1 2 2 1) as prompted. The LED will flash RED and the motor will kick when a symbol is entered. Wand will go to Connecting state after the fourth entry. | After 30 seconds, the wand returns to Standby state. This timer restarts at 30 seconds, whenever a button is pressed |
Short RED blink once per second | Connecting | Wait five seconds. | If connection fails, the wand enters Standby state. If connection Succeeds, the wand enters the Connected state |
A Wand may be Bound or Unbound.
An Unbound Wand has no association with a Headset and when powered on will enter Requesting Code state to make an initial connection. Typically once the initial connection succeeds, the Headset Binds the Wand (sharing a secret key that the Wand stores in nonvolatile memory).
A Bound Wand has an association with a specific Headset, via shared secret key, and will enter **Connecting* state when powered on, attempting to reconnect to that specific Headset.
If a Wand is powered on using the special sequence “Hold X + B + T5 Button until BLUE LED lights”, the Wand will erase any shared secret key from nonvolatile storage, return to the Unbound state, and enter Requesting Code state to make a new connection.
